This Privacy Policy explains how Quantica Education, Inc. ("Quantica," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and learning platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising.
Quantica is intended for students ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
If a parent or guardian is creating an account for a child under 13, the parent or guardian must check the age confirmation box during account creation. By checking that box, the parent or guardian provides consent on the child's behalf and takes responsibility for how the account is used.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us at privacy@quanticaedu.com and we will delete the information promptly. Parents may also contact us to review or request deletion of their child's data at any time.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the platform:
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.
We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial reasons (for example, payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax purposes).
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we have collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is no opt-out needed for sales.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or erase your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@quanticaedu.com.
We use browser local storage to remember your login session and your learning progress between visits. We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage, such as which pages are visited and how far learners get in the course; it sets its own cookies for this purpose. We have disabled Google Analytics advertising features and ad personalization, we do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and analytics data is not used to build advertising profiles.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using HTTPS for all data transmission and relying on Firebase's built-in security features. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your data seriously.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email and post an updated version here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For privacy questions, data requests, or concerns about children's data, please contact us at privacy@quanticaedu.com.
